As with most new technology solutions, the challenges are not technical but rather are around motivating and managing the structural changes required to effectively utilized the new technologies. Anyone can build a service. The challenge is building the right services, and doing so within the context of the enterprise rather than the limited scope of a single project. These are issues that I would like to specifically address with the architecture presented in the book and this is the reason, i would like to use this book.
Oracle EBS and OA framework make an awesome combination. With Oracle’s move towards OA pages from Oracle forms in R12, it would be worth the time and effort to learn how to integrate these. The future definitely lies here!
I would like to win this book, as this book will fulfill a large part of my tarining need. In every single project I have worked there has been a need to extend and/or customize existing OAF pages. And this book will give me necessary skills for doing this.
